Four people are behind bars and a fifth is wanted in conncection to a marijuana bust in North Iowa.

The Cerro Gordo County sheriff's office says the arrests Tuesday were the result of a several months long investigation.

All four of these individuals are now charged with selling marijuana.

A fifth person, Marcus Chisholm from Minneapolis is still wanted.

An Iowa man in behind bars after leading police on a high-speed chase Sunday night.

Officials say a sheriff tried to pull the driver over but took off.

The chase went through Worth, Freeborn and Mower Counties before ending back in Mitchell County, where it began, with the driver crashing into a ditch.

He Is facing several charges including operating while intoxicated.

A 19-year-old Mason City woman is charged with second-degree theft.

Police say Daphne Lincicum took nearly $1,800 from cash drawers at Kohls.

She was an employee at the store.

Lincicum was arrested on January 9th and released later that night after posting bond.

A northeast Iowa woman has been released on bond after authorities say she obtained more than $20,000 in cash and goods by defrauding an elderly woman.

Boozy Bartender Busted

Boozy Bartender Busted

Gunshots outside a Mason City bar led to the club's bartender arrested on charged of public intoxication.

26-year old Sarah Cook is charged after police were called to the Alley Katz bar on North Federal Avenue.

A 45 caliber shell casing was found behind the bar, but no one witnessed who fired the shot.

Cook was taken to jail and later released on bond.

Second Arrest in Marijuana Baby Case

A second person has been charged in the case of a Mason City baby that tested postitive for marijuana.

Benjamin Arthur Janssen was arrested yesterday morning when he turned himself in to authorities.

Thomas faces 3 felony charges including child endangerment and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance.

Earlier this week Vallery Thomas, the mother of the 8 month old infant, was arrested and charged after D-H-S tests showed her baby had pot in it's system.
