Rescued Dogs Healing at Humane Society of North Iowa

Rescued Dogs Healing at Humane Society of North Iowa

A dozen dogs are now recuperating in Mason City after being handed over by a breeding operation that closed up.

The Humane Society of North Iowa took the dogs in after a kennel in southern Iowa closed it's doors because it could no longer meet federal standards for breeders.

The kennel owner asked the Humane Society to take possession of the dogs which are all at least 12 years old.

All the dogs had teeth problems and fleas according to the Humane Society's Director.
